Quality Manager

Butler Technologies is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join our Calibration Business Unit in Maynooth, Co Kildare, on a full-time, permanent basis.

 

Role and Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Head of Laboratory, the Quality Manager will

• ensure that the Management System is established, implemented and maintained in accordance with the requirements of ISO17025

• ensure equipment is maintained and calibrated

• manage the internal audit program

• coordinate laboratory accreditation activities

• handle the maintenance and distribution of the Quality Manual and associated documents

• train personnel on Management System activities

• monitor the Management System

• report on the performance of the Management System to senior management for review and as a basis for improvement of the Management System

• ensure that all environmental, health, and safety regulations are followed

• supervise the laboratory’s interlaboratory comparisons, intralaboratory comparisons, and proficiency testing program

Skills & Requirements:

The ideal candidate will

• be qualified to degree level in a relevant discipline (Engineering, Physics)

• have a minimum of 3 year’s experience in a similar role

• be familiar with the implementation of ISO17025/ISO9001

• have a good working knowledge of INAB accreditation

• have excellent verbal and written communication skills

• be proficient in MS Office (esp Excel, Word)
